Engage your mind...
Updated: Aug 20, 2021
Through my own journey, over the past year and half, of working towards setting up my consultation space; I've experienced many times when I would be stuck and for days on end do nothing. This would bring in a lot of fear and uncertainty. It would take a massive effort of acknowledging and taking charge to get things back on track.
It is during such times that one realizes how the mind needs to be occupied - not necessarily doing something physically, but bringing in positive thoughts, being grateful for the situation, understanding and not overthinking the way things are, etc.
Observing nature and just being one with it; Taking a walk and enjoying the surroundings; Reading a book; Solving a crossword or doing a puzzle; meditation; cultivating a hobby; all these are simple but very effective ways to keep stress and boredom at bay.
